THE POSITION
Be one of the first members of Involver’s Inside Sales Team. We are in a period of tremendous growth and are looking to quickly develop an inside sales team to help us gain further market penetration. The opportunity in this developing market is huge and largely untapped. The Inside Sales Reps will always have their plate full and never have a shortage of leads to convert to Involver clients. With this position you’ll be responsible for a high-volume of communication to agencies and brands directly.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead generation
- Cold-calling to set up in-person and phone call presentations for Sales Directors in their respective regions with brands and agencies at the Premium level. On these exploratory discussions you’ll be assessing the clients needs and communicating the capabilities and benefits of the Involver platform so they are primed for a formal presentation with a Sales Director.
- Warm-calling major brands that are using Involver apps at the free level and setting them up for Premium presentations with Sales Directors.
- Making introductory calls with incoming leads and qualifying them as a Premium or Pro opportunity. Then setting these leads up for presentations with Sales Directors if they have Premium potential and closing them over the phone/email if they are at the Pro level.
- Prepare weekly reports/forecasts detailing the progress on leads you are developing and business you are closing.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in technology sales.
- Social media and technology savvy. You’ll be talking with clients in a still-young, developing market so the knowledge level of clients varies considerably. You will be responsible for educating your clients and displaying a mastery of the social media space and the Involver platform.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A lot of the day will be spent on the phone so strong phone skills are a definite necessity.
- Strong dedicated work ethic- This isn’t a standard 9-5 job and you’ll be expected to hit aggressive goals which will only be attainable with a high volume of outreach.
- Outgoing personality with high energy and a great attitude. Culture is very important at Involver so it’s a necessity that you mesh well with our team and add value to our environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
- Experience with Salesforce a definite plus
